RTC 2010 has reserved a number of rooms at the Novotel Manly Pacific from Wednesday 19 May through to Sunday 23 May. Additional nights outside of these dates can be arranged. Two room types have been reserved:

Manly / Courtyard View Room (Fully booked!)

$210 per room per night, includes one breakfast served in Zali’s restaurant.

Most rooms with lovely vistas to Manly's West, looking out to Manly's famous Rugby Oval and District.

Manly view rooms are available in queen or twin doubles configuration

Parking

A carpark is situated beneath the Hotel (via Francis Lane) and offers secure underground parking and direct lift access to the hotel lobby and conference rooms. Self parking is available for day delegates and in house guests at a reduced rate of $18.00 per car per day. All parking is subject to availability. Valet parking is charged at $25.00 per car per day.

Getting from the Sydney Airport to Manly
Distance from Sydney International and Domestic Airport by car is approximately 20km’s, with an average travel time by road of 30 - 45 minutes.
You need to allow around 1 ½ hours to get from either the Domestic or International Terminal to Manly using public transport.

By Bus
The Manly Airport Bus transfers visitors to and from the Manly region 7 days and nights, with the first run 4.30am for early birds. Fares start from $50 to Domestic terminal and $60 to international with pickup (costs vary depending on the number of passengers).

If you are catching a Sydney bus from the city, go to Wynyard station and catch any bus numbered between 184-190, including L buses. Get off at Warringah Mall and then cross the road and switch to a Manly-bound bus (the 155 or others). Direct buses to Manly only run during the morning and afternoon peak on weekdays.

By Ferry
Manly is 11 kilometres by ferry or jet-powered catamaran from the Sydney CBD.
Ferries and Jet Cats operate from Sydney's Circular Quay (Wharf 3) seven days a week from about 6am to 11pm, taking 35 and 14 minutes respectively to make the crossing. Single fares are $6.40/$3.20, with no discount for a return trip.

Train
Walk from the Wharf to Circular Quay Train Station and purchase a ticket to either the International ($13, or $ 8.80 concession) or Domestic Terminal ($ 12.20, or $ 8.40 concession) from the counter. Trains depart approximately every 15 minutes to both Domestic and International Terminals. Allow 30 minutes for the journey.

Taxi
A single way taxi fare to Manly costs approximately $60 - $80 and takes between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the traffic. Manly Warringah Cabs can be booked by phoning 131668

By Car
From points further north, get on Pittwater Road and stay on it all the way to Manly. At Warringah Mall, Pittwater Road turns to the left which is clearly signposted.
From the City, cross the Harbour Bridge, and take tine Manly exit from the Warringah Expressway, and follow the signs.
